ICE OUT DATES

Rockvam Boat Yards, Inc. is located on the south shore of West Arm - Lake Minnetonka.
To the right you will find the official ice out dates of West Arm since 1968. Typically West Arm will open a week before the "main bay" however it has been known to happen in reverse.

We welcome you to study the list, run charts and graphs, even compare it to the "ice-in" dates. But ultimately luck (and mother nature) will determine the winner!

Note: The average ice out for Lake Minnetonka is April 15th. However, there has never been an official ice out for Lake Minnetonka on April 15th. (Remember, the dates listed on the right are for the ice out on West Arm,
just one part of Lake Minnetonka.)

The official records are: March 1, 1878 and
April 27, 1910.
